It’s a tradition at little man’s school to donate a decorated jar of sweeties for the Christmas fayre. Last year I let him “join in” but this year I decided to avoid the arguments about the sweeties Not Being For Us and do my own.

The fabric was a happy discovery, crammed into some old vintage suitcases I bought from a house clearance shop. It has been repurposed from torn & slightly stained ironing board cover to cutesy jar toppers. The “ribbon” came with a pack of glow sticks I got for Halloween from a pound shop.

Not a bad reuse of old or unused stuff – what do you think?
