Rag Rug: The Progress
This craft suits me down to the ground:
- You can pick it up when you feel like it, drop it when you don’t without anything spoiling
- It’s easy peasy
- It allows me to use up old things I have lying around (L.O.V.E. that!)
- It’s meant to look shabby 🙂
It’s starting to look like a rug!
What do you reckon so far? I love the colours, mainly chosen by my husband and intermingled with the recycled clothing which gives it the personal touch. Some of the clothing I sliced up to use is a bit prone to fraying but hopefully it won’t notice too much when it’s finished.
My son thinks it’s hilarious that there are about 4 pieces of fabric from a pair of his sister’s old knickers!
